Carol Leda (Pusateri) Phillips, 81, Kansas City, Mo., died Friday, June 10, 2011, at Centerpoint Medical Center. A private burial service will be held. Arrangements are by Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, Mo.

Carol was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo., to Sam and Millie (Evangelista) Pusateri. She graduated from Glennon High School and attended Central Missouri State University.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold L. Phillips; and her sisters, Rose Simonie and Marie Pusateri. Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Rizza and Dena Marotta; grandchildren, Michael and Cara Rizza, Adriana Rizza, Angelica Marotta; great-grandchildren and other relatives.
