It’s breakfast and politics at Centennial United Methodist Church.
A candidate breakfast forum will be held at the church, 1834 Woodland, Kansas City, Mo., at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 6. The event is free of charge and all are welcome to attend.
Candidates in attendance will be mayoral candidates Mike Burke and Sylvester “Sly” James and Third District and At-Large candidates Melba Curls, Brandon Ellington, Sharon Sanders Brooks and Jermaine Reed. Candidates will have an opportunity to share their plans for improving Kansas City,
Angela Bennet, Esq., will moderate the event.
The Prayer Breakfast Ministry and the Church & Society Ministry of the Centennial United Methodist Church and the Black Economic Union are hosting the event.
