Both suspects connected to the April 11 Cliff Drive double homicide are now in custody. Kansas City Missouri Police arrested Todd Fonville, 18, yesterday afternoon. The other suspect, 27-year-old Miguel Apodaca, has been in custody since April 12. Both of their bonds are set at $250,000 cash.

Both men have been charged with two counts of second degree murder, two counted of armed criminal action and one count of knowingly burning. Fonville has also been charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with injury. Fonville allegedly stuck a three-year-old while he and Apodaca were on their way to dispose of the bodies.

Fonville and Apodaca allegedly tried to rob two victims, a male and a female. The female victim has been identified as 22-year-old Debeney C. Kreiling. The male victim has not been positively identified. Both victims were shot inside a residence in the 5800 block of Anderson and their bodies carried to their vehicle.

Fonville and Apodaca then allegedly drove the vehicle to Cliff Drive and Gladstone Boulevard where they set the vehicle on fire and fled the scene.
