This Book of the Week recommendation comes from Deborah Gamm, senior library technical assistant at the North East Branch of the Kansas City Public Library.

“I chose this novel as an example of caution about the dangers of deceit and greed when it comes to money,” Deborah said. “The main characters are caught up in a web of lies from the beginning of the author’s harrowing story. It shows the reader how easily people can become seduced by the notion of easy money.”
