This week’s book recommendation comes from Deborah Gamm, Senior Library Assistant, at the North-East Branch of the Kansas City Public Library, which reopened to the public this week.
Deborah chose “Everything Chocolate: A Decadent Collection of Morning Pastries, Nostalgic Sweets, and Showstopping Desserts” by America’s Test Kitchen as the first in our series on Creative Beginnings.
“This book had me just by looking at its delicious-looking cover! From classic chocolate chip cookies (they are wonderful!) to caramel sauce, this book will tell you “why this recipe works” on each dish,” Deborah said. “Cooking might be a chore, but for me, baking is a fascinating and tasty hobby. This is a great way to involve the kids to collaborate in fun, family craft.”
“Everything Chocolate” is available as a physical book through the Kansas City Public Library.
