This week’s book recommendation was chosen by Lilia Sandoval, Summer Associate at the North-East Branch of the Kansas City Public Library.

Lilia chose “Day at the Beach” by Tom Booth for the last in our series of vacation reads.

“Day at the Beach is a funny and sweet picture book,” Lilia said. “I enjoyed the relationship Gideon and Audrey shared when building their sand castle together. This is an awesome summer vacation read because it’ll remind you that sometimes family is what makes vacations fun!”
