Andrew Arthur Roberts, 50, of Overland Park, Kan., died Jan. 7, 2010. Andy was born Dec. 4, 1959, in Charleston, W.V., to Ronald T. and Janice J. Roberts. He was raised in the Kansas City area, graduated from Northeast High School in 1978 and from the University of Kansas with a degree in architecture and design.
He was a member of Triangle Fraternity and was an avid Jayhawk fan. He worked as an architect, specializing in sports architecture. He also enjoyed skiing, music, biking and being a dad.
His mother, Janice Roberts, preceded him in death. Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 25 years, Marybeth (Cook) Roberts, and sons Addison and Drew, of the home. Others include his father, Ronald T. Roberts (Kitty); sisters, Katherine (Mark) Tennison and Ann (David) Roberts-Weigert; many nieces and nephews, family and close friends.
