Police were dispatched to the BP gas station at 1900 Independence Ave. late Sunday night on an outside disturbance call. Upon arrival, they located a white male in his 30s laying on the driveway. He was transported to a local hospital with a possible stab wound and was later pronounced dead.

Witness accounts noted that the man was involved in an altercation with a man and two women. Three suspects were located near the scene and taken into custody. According to police department statistics, this is the 65th homicide of 2012. Anyone with any additional information about this crime is asked to call the TIPS Hotline.
