Problem Properties Workshop
Learn how to research problem properties in your neighborhood and identify owners of the property, among other vital information. The workshop is a collaboration between several community partners, including Northeast HELP and Legal Aid of Western Missouri, and will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Gregg Klice Community Center Computer Lab, 1600 E. 17th Terr., Kansas City, Mo. Feel free to bring a list of properties you’d like to research.

NY Times bestselling author visits KC
The International and New York Times bestselling author Steve Berry will teach his acclaimed writers’ workshop, “Lessons from a Bestseller,” from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Writers Place, 3607 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Mo. Historic Kansas City Foundation (HKCF) is hosting the event. Cost is $70 for HKCF members and $110 for non-members. A book signing will follow the workshop.
