Hard Hat Tour
Take a hard hat tour of Corinthian Hall, the more than 100-year-old home of lumber baron Robert A. Long and his family. Tours are free and will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd., Kansas City, Mo.

Swing Dancing at Don Bosco
Pendleton Heights will host beginner swing dancing lessons at Don Bosco Center’s gym, Independence Avenue and Garfield. No partner is needed and class will last 45 minutes to an hour. All are invited to attend. Cost is $5. Swing lessons will be held the third Wednesday of every month.

Breakfast for Champions
Check out the School Bell Breakfast: A Breakfast for Champions at 7:30 a.m. at The Muehlebach Hotel. All proceeds will go toward the Strong City School Fund to open the doors of accredited neighborhood Catholic elementary schools to low-income families. Knights of Columbus Council 4613 will host a night of karaoke and dancing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Parish – St. Joseph Hall, 3208 Lexington, Kansas City, Mo. Food will also be available for purchase.

Call for Window Dressing Artists
Join Northeast Arts KC to finish its “House of Cards” at the southwest block of 7th and Indiana, Kansas City, Mo. Twenty-nine window boards will be drawn out and ready to paint. Northeast Arts will provide supplies. Novice and experienced painters are welcome. The window dressing will be held on May 19 and 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food will be provided. Additional help is also needed for cleaning up the property’s corner, picking up trash, mowing and removing graffiti.

Walk and Talk Tour of Columbus Park
Take a Walk and Talk tour of Columbus Park, sponsored by the Kansas City Museum. Meet at Columbus Park, Independence Avenue and Charlotte Street, at 2 p.m. Cost is $5 per person or $15 for groups of four.
