Don Bosco Centers is hosting the Northeast Farmers Market, which features fresh fruits and vegetables grown by New Roots for Refugees Farmers. The farmers market will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Independence Avenue and Garfield.

Kansas City Museum and Northeast Arts KC will host another session in its free Summer Concert Series at 7 p.m. Listen to Alaturka, a combination of American Jazz and classical Turkish music, at the museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd.

Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Sale
Pendleton Heights will host a Neighborhood Sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pick up a map of the sales at the Pendleton Heights tent in the Don Bosco parking lot, Garfield and Independence Ave., and check out the bake sale. Join your neighbors for a picnic at Scuola Vita Nuova, Independence Boulevard and Olive Street. Meat will be provided. Please bring a side dish or beverage.

Knights of Columbus Monthly Breakfast
Knights of Columbus will host its monthly breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Anthony Church in St. Joseph Hall, 3208 Lexington. Menu will include biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potato casserole and more. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages eight to 12.

Explorers Tennis Clinic
Children ages five to 10 are encouraged to attend the free Explorers Tennis Clinic, which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Barney Allis Plaza tennis courts between 12th and 13th Streets and Central and Wyandotte Streets. Children of all skill levels are encouraged to attend and develop their tennis skills. FCA Power Camp
Check out the Michael Watson/FCA Power Camp July 19-22 at Central High School, 3221 Indiana. Campers ages eight to 13 will have a choice of basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, track and field or cheerleading/dance. Free mammograms
Sign up for free mammograms through Sheffield Family Life Center. Sheffield received a grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Kansas City, in partnership with St. Luke’s Cancer Institute, to provide free mammograms to women who qualify. Appointments are being accepted now and the mammograms will be offered on July 28 at Sheffield Family Life Center, 5700 Winner Rd., Kansas City, Mo.
