Book of Revelation explained
For 12 weeks, beginning Wednesday, March 18, Dr. George Westlake Jr., Pastor Emeritus of the Sheffield Family Life Center, 5700 Winner Road, will be teaching the book of Revelations during Family night at the center. The classes run from 7 – 8:30 p.m. and feature services and programs for every member of the family.

Join the North-East Library at 10 a.m. to learn basic English skills: reading, writing, and conversation. No fee or books required.
Adult Thursday Movie
Join other adults at the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd., Kansas City, Mo., to watch a movie on the library’s big screen at 10 a.m.
St. Joseph Table
Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5106 St. John Ave., will host its St. Joseph table on Thursday, March 19. The day begins with a mass at 8:30 a.m., followed by a table blessing. Viewing of the table will take place at 11 a.m. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Story Time and Craft
Join North-East Public Library for its weekly story time and craft at 10:30 a.m. Parents and kids will enjoy stories geared toward toddlers and pre-schoolers. Get ready for songs, tongue twisters and dramatic play.
All you can eat shrimp dinner
The Hibernians are sponsoring an all you can eat shrimp dinner every Friday in Lent, beginning Friday. The dinner will take place form 5 – 7:30 p.m. at the Redemptorist Cafeteria, 3333 Broadway Blvd. Admission is $14 for adults and $6 for children.

Computer Class – email
Sign up for a free e-mail account and follow along with this tutorial that teaches the ins and outs of sending and receiving email, as well as how to organize your messages. Class begins at 10:30 a.m. at the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd.
Seton Center Health Fair
Free health, vision, and oral health screenings will be available at a health fair scheduled from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Seton Center, 2816 E. 23rd Street. Offerings will include health information and exhibits, fire truck tours, free bike helmet fittings for the first 50 children, face painting, balloon animals, fitness activities, seatbelt and car rollover simulator, job opportunities with QuikTrip, door prizes, and free hot dogs and chips. Join Gladstone Elementary School, 335 N. Elmwood Ave., from 1 – 3 p.m. for food, drinks, games, face painting, live music, and more fun activities. Admission is free.

Knights of Columbus fish fry
The Knights of Columbus 4613 are hosting a fish fry from 7 – 9 p.m. Friday, March 27, in St. Joseph Hall at St. Anthony’s Church, 3208 Lexington Ave. Admission is $8 and bingo will follow dinner.
Third annual Scarritt Renaissance Easter egg hunt
The Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association will host its third annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Concourse Park. This event is free and open to all children under 12-years-old. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures.
Team Up to Clean Up
From 8 a.m. – noon Saturday, April 4, compactor trucks will be located at Concourse and Budd Parks to collect trash, yard waste and bulky items. A trailer for tire disposal will also be available at Concourse Park. Trash disposal is free to residents of the Northeast and Kansas City, Mo.
