This is the one time Children’s Mercy Hospital doesn’t want you to give.

Children’s Mercy is warning Kansas Citians about a door-to-door book and magazine sales scam claiming to benefit the hospital. These book and magazine offers are not associated with the hospital and monies won’t go toward helping Children’s Mercy. Children’s Mercy is asking residents not to purchase any of the items.

Those who come across a door-to-door sales person claiming that proceeds will benefit Children’s Mercy are asked to call the police.
