Corey D. Grimes, 17, of Kansas City, now faces felony charges of first degree robbery and armed criminal action, along with a misdemeanor of resisting arrest.
On May 10, Grimes pulled a knife and demanded a women’s purse and car keys outside of a Northeast beauty shop.
When police spotted the women’s stolen vehicle, Grimes fled from police and carelessly drove through traffic, wrecking his vehicle at 27th and Agnes.
Shortly after taking off on foot, police caught and arrested Grimes.
