Kansas City is still searching for a new police chief and the Kansas City Missouri Board of Police Commissioners are asking for public input. Kansas City residents are invited to share what qualities they’d like to see in the next chief. Three meetings will be held for the public to share their ideas. All three meetings will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

• Wednesday, July 6 – Hillcrest Community Center, 10401 Hillcrest Rd.

• Thursday , July 7 – Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center, 3700 Blue Parkway

• Monday, July 11 – Police Academy auditorium, 6885 N.E. Pleasant Valley Rd.
