National Strawberry Ice Cream day is celebrated on Jan. 15. Originally believed to be coined by First Lady, Dolley Madison in 1813, as this dish was served at her husband and  fourth U.S. President James Madison’s second inaguration. 

Similarly, National Ice Cream day is celebrated on the third sunday in July as 40th U.S. President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream month in 1984.
