In August 2007, Frontier Schools started its first school on Troost Avenue with approximately 100 students in grades 6 through 9. In 2009, a new campus started on the north side in grades kindergarten through fifth grade and total number of students was increased to approximately 500 students. Application numbers and enrollment increased each year and a middle school started next to the elementary school in 2012. In that year, there were approximately 900 students in three campuses. In 2014-15 school year, a high school started on the north side and number of students increased to more than 1200 students. Currently, Frontier Schools is serving more than 1600 students in its four locations.
