As 2023 draws to a close and we gather to celebrate our shared visions and raise a toast of celebration, we are reminded that while we’ve accomplished much and achieved many of our goals over the past year, there is still hard work to be done with our community partners in order to make the Independence Avenue International Marketplace a safe and thriving community that will become a destination for those in search of an international shopping or dining experience in one of Kansas City’s most vibrant and diverse communities.
