On October 21, 2021, the Kansas City Museum reopened the restored and renovated Corinthian Hall. The last thirteen months have brought thousands of visitors to Corinthian Hall to enjoy new exhibits, programs, and events.

Thank you for supporting the Kansas City Museum and for embracing our mission and vision to be the Home of the Whole Story. We are working hard to offer even more experiences (including food and beverage!) and educational opportunities as we strategically grow our resources and capacity.

At this time, we are actively fundraising to create the educational interactives and media for the history exhibits in Corinthian Hall. We are working with museum design firm Gallagher & Associates to produce the interactives and media, which may include touch screens, animated/projection maps, listening stations for oral histories, an accessible collections database, QR codes, etc.

These interactives and media will enhance the exhibits in Corinthian Hall by adding more dynamic, accessible content and immersive learning experiences. In particular, the digital experiences will be designed for elementary and high school students to enhance field trips, real world learning goals, and professional development for educators. We aim to launch the interactives in late 2023.

To support this process, the Wylie Charitable Foundation has generously established the Kansas City Museum Challenge Fund at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation to match all contributions 1:1 through December 31, 2022.

We are grateful to every visitor who has experienced the Kansas City Museum, and we look forward to a joyful and peaceful holiday season.
