Saturday morning shortly after 8am, KCPD Officers were called to the 600 block of Cypress Avenue on a medical nature unknown call. Upon arrival officers located an adult, male victim in a vehicle suffering from an apparent trauma.
EMS personnel responded to the scene and declared the victim deceased. Upon further investigation by detectives, the case is being investigated as a homicide. The investigation is ongoing. This brings the 2022 homicide count in Kansas City to 92.
