Residents of a home in the 300 block of S. Drury shivered outside in 15 degree temperatures while Firefighters worked the roof area around the chimney Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to a residence in the 300 block of South Drury this afternoon on what residents described as a chimney fire.

The fire was quickly brought under control and all occupants of the house got out safely, including family pets.

The residents of the house  indicated they were inside sleeping when they were alerted to the fire.
