The Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) is asking for the community’s help identifying a robbery suspect.

Just before noon on July 14, officers were called to the CVS located at 5901 Independence Ave.

Officers contacted the employees, who advised the suspect produced a note to employees at the pharmacy counter instructing them to turn over prescription medications or people would be hurt if they did not comply.

The suspect took the medication from the employees and fled the location westbound on foot.
