The Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers are still searching for tips on the one year anniversary of the homicide of Darren Thompson.
On Nov. 17, 2019, officers responded to the area of East 10th Street and Chestnut Avenue just before 2 a.m.
The early Sunday homicide was initially reported as a sound of gunshots call to police. Upon arrival, they found one man had been shot and killed. He was later identified as 27-year-old Thompson.
To date, only two tips have been received by Crime Stoppers regarding the case.
The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department and the Greater KC Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline are requesting assistance from the public in identifying those responsible.
