Catie Harbor is a barista at Eleos Coffee, located at 3401 Independence Ave.
Harbor and her unbelievably radiant smile hail from Texas, the Lone Star State. 

She moved to the Historic Northeast community in October 2019 and said she immediately fell in love with how close-knit the community is.

“I love it, I love the family feel of the neighborhood, how everybody kind of has your back. It’s like ‘Cheers,’ everybody knows your name,” she said.

Harbor recently moved into a house and is single-handedly renovating and restoring the home to what it once was. 

“I love restoration,” she said. “It wasn’t in the greatest shape when I moved in and I loved cleaning it up, restoring it to what it was, and making it more beautiful.”  

Her favorite part of living in Historic Northeast? 

“The people,” she responded without hesitation. “I’ve been to a couple of neighborhood association meetings and I loved how passionate the neighbors are about really working together about bringing beauty and uplift to the neighborhood. It’s really inspiring.”
