Last Tuesday’s shooting in the Hardee’s parking lot has been upgraded to a homicide.

A little after 8 p.m. last Tuesday Kansas City Missouri police officers were in the parking lot of a business at 6200 Independence Avenue. They heard shots and immediately ran across the street to the Hardee’s parking lot where they located a Hispanic male in a car, an apparent victim of a shooting. That male was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On March 7th police learned that that victim had succumbed to the shooting injuries. The victim has been identified as 30 year old Joseph Delgado.
