Two Northeast neighborhood association board elections will be held next month.
The Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Association and the Independence Plaza Neighborhood Council are both holding elections for new board members.
Pendleton Heights will hold their election Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at KCUMB Butterworth Alumni Center (1750 Independence Avenue). Positions for president, secretary, and two other board seats are open.
Independence Plaza will hold their election Thursday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army on 9th and Gladstone. All positions are open to anyone who is active in the association.
In order to vote in these elections, residents must be a member of that respective neighborhood association.
