The city recorded its latest homicide earlier this week when officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of St. John Avenue on a suspicious smell near a residence.
Officers entered the residence and discovered the body of a white male in his 60s. According to police the body had been in the home for a period of time prior to discovery. The ID of the victim has not been released. Police have no suspect in the case. Anyone with any information in this case is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477)
