Ruthanne Kay Jones (Conchola), 47, died peacefully in her Northeast home on New Years Day 2010, surrounded by family and friends.

Ruthanne was born to Ruby and Phillip Masoner March 18, 1962. She made Northeast her home the past 15 years with Mark Crutcher. Ruthanne was about her family and children. She was close to her sisters, Michelle Zook and Honey Sue Jones.

She raised three sons, Michael, David and Phillip Conchola. She was mom also to Tiffany Ruiz, Krissy Smith, Mark A. Smith, Crystal Marcella and Amber McCoy.

Her pride and joy were her grandkids, Makayla, Danika, Karson, Shylo and 11 others.

Ruthanne was a mom, sister, daughter and friend, a one-of-a-kind, strong woman, who fought to the end.

Her family would like to thank the Kansas City Hospice staff for all the care and dedication to their jobs — for all the care of not only Ruthanne, but also the care and support of Mark during this past month.
