Community crime meetings
Community members are continuing to meet every Wednesday at noon at the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd. The group brings neighborhood safety concerns together and forwards them to the police department. All are welcome.

Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
The Knights of Columbus will hold a fish fry from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in St. Joseph Hall at St. Anthony Church, 3208 Lexington. Menu includes whole catfish, catfish filets, shrimp, coleslaw, potatoes, green beans, dessert and drink. Cost for adults is $9 and $4 for children 12 and under.

Green Art Day
Green Art Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Concourse Park, Historic Northeast. A variety of green-themed activities will be available, including painting and decorating trash barrels, a flower pot craft, among other activities. Performance artists are also slated to perform.

Grace Church Easter Egg Hunt
Grace Church will host an Easter egg hunt at 4300 Independence Ave. at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served at noon and includes free hot dogs, chips and drinks. Goodies will be available for all the youngsters.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Egg Hunt
Jackson County Sheriff’s Department will host its annual Easter egg hunt at noon at Parade Park at Truman Road and Paseo. Greet the Easter bunny, meet special guests, play on inflatables and explore emergency response and special operation vehicles!

Indian Mound Neighborhood Association will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. at North-East Library, 6000 Wilson Rd. Beth Murano, Neighborhood Special Prosecutor from the City Attorney’s office, will be the special guest.
