Letter to the Editor:

I stand by my letter and my facts. Yes, I no longer live in the Old Northeast, but visit a couple times each week. At some point perception becomes reality and that has happened in the Old Northeast. My goal was to make people mad. When people are mad they act and change things. The perfect example is the Nov. 2014 elections.

I hope and pray that in Jan. 2016 I will be forced to write a letter and “eat crow.” That will not happen until all work together. Harlem in New York reclaimed their community. It can be done in the Old Northeast. We, Yes, I mean WE, can transform the community back to the days when it was vibrant. But that will take hard work and I do not see that happening now.
