In Leslie Collins’ article on the front page, “NEHS comes out…” the first paragraph… “Texting and driving is like vinegar and water. They don’t mix.”
If she is going to use a metaphor, she should use it correctly.
Vinegar (acetic acid) and water mix very well together. Oil and water do not.
Your proofreader should have caught this.
Even though we are East Side rather than Northeast, we pick up your paper at the Price Chopper on Wilson Road each week. We enjoy reading each issue. You do a great job and fill an important need for the community.
