Prosecutors charge second supsect in the Jan. 28 double homicide near Budd Park

The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office has charged another suspect in the Jan. 28 double homicide near Budd Park.

Marqueis D. Fuqua, 19, has been charged with two counts of second degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action, both felonies.

According to court documents, the victims, Brian G. Cunningham and Therman Lacy III, were shot inside a vehicle near Budd Park during a marijuana deal.

Earlier in May, 19-year-old Glenn A. Pulluaim II was also charged in connection to the murders. Pulluaim faces two counts of second degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action.
