KANSAS CITY – Tuesday, April 2, thousands of Kansas City voters participated in the 2019 primary election.
Of the 432,658 registered voters in Kansas City, Platte County, and Clay County, 71,668 ballots were cast (16.56 percent).
Jolie Justus and Quinton Lucas were the top two finalists in the primary election, and will face-off in the June General Election and Mayor Sly James’ Pre-K sales tax was voted down.
