This Book of the Week was chosen by Diana Ash, Senior Technical Assistant at the North East Library. She chose “Charlotte’s Web” by E.B. White.

“Don’t think of this as just a children’s book,” Ash said. “Adults can appreciate this wonderful piece of literature on many levels and through many phases of life. “Charlotte’s Web” is a book about life, death and friendship that will have you laughing uncontrollably at the beginning and leave you sobbing inconsolably at the end, with many valuable lessons to be learned in between. “Some Pig.” This classic contains many fond childhood memories and reminds me why I can’t kill a spider to this day.”

This item is available as an e-book, downloadable audiobook, book, book in the Spanish language, audiobook on CD, as well as being made into a motion picture available on DVD and the music soundtrack on CD.
