KANSAS CITY, Missouri — One man was killed while another was injured after a shooting Tuesday night.

According to KCPD public information officer Darrin Snapp, officers were called to Truman Medical Center around 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in regards to a shooting. A Hispanic man, approximately 20-years-old, was declared dead while the second shooting victim was listed as being in serious condition. Both victims arrived at the hospital in a private car. Police believe the victims were sitting inside a parked car near 12th Street and Highland Avenue when they were shot.

Police believe the suspect is a black man who was wearing a brown coat at the time when he fired the shots.
