Its official. US 24 / Independence Avenue between Ewing and I-435 has re-opened as of the evening of Tuesday April 5th. Crews have pulled all of the barricades and cones then removed the porta-potty earlier this morning making the process complete.

According to Markl Johnson with the Missouri Department of Transportation, expansion joint work was completed last week. Additional “pin and hanger” work was also completed. Paint work will continue under the spans for another three weeks but will not impact traffic flow on the bridge.
