For the second time in as many days, KCFD crews responded to an already gutted out shell of a house at 3014 E. 6th Street around 6:30 this morning.
Firefighters did a complete check and determined that the smoke was from a campfire set in the backyard.
As we noted yesterday the house has languished on the city’s dangerous buildings list for almost a year this time around. It has a Litany of codes violations dating back to 2002.
