KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The two-day Sugar Creek’s Slavic Festival began on Friday, June 10, with music, dancing, and plenty of traditional Slavic food. Check out photos from the first day of the festival below, or stop by for the second day of the festival from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. Grammy-nominated accordion artist Alex Meixner will headline the evening activities, with performances scheduled at 9:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
