RV Show Takes over Kansas City’s Bartle Hall

Whether you’re a weekend warrior or looking to up your game and go full time, get your travelin shoes on because the Greater Kansas City RV Show is happening this weekend at Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City, MO and it’s choc-full of new RV’s Travel Trailers, Toy Haulers and some super cool, off-grid exploratory vehicles manufactured right here in the state of Missouri.

This year’s show has over 200,000 square feet of new RV’s on display showcasing everything from the compact, teardrop or pop-up campers to the luxurious, Class-A diesel pushers, there’s something for everyone and every budget at this year’s show.

In addition to all the units on the show floor, there’s a cool new campfire area complete with comfy, outdoor furniture where you can kick back and enjoy some great new food from the upgraded concession areas. I hear there’s a big football game that will be broadcast on Saturday afternoon. This might be the perfect place to hang out!

“I’m excited,” said Tracy Nice with DeSoto, KS based Stancy Events, this year’s show producer. “I’m a small, woman owned business and to bring the show back to Kansas City is very exciting for us. “We haven’t had this many RVs in one spot in Kansas City in about five years. And so being able to do that and bring the community together is it’s just super cool.”

Two new community organizations are partnering with this year’s show, Flourish Furnishings, a Grandview, MO based non-profit organization that donates quality, used furniture to Kansas City’s marginalized population. Also new this year is a partnership with Re-hope, a Greenwood, MO based non-profit organization that provides housing, treatment and sustainable services to women and children that have been victims of human trafficking.

Oh, about that off-grid, exploratory vehicle, 27North, a custom van and conversion vehicle builder out of Springfield, MO will have a couple of their custom vehicles on hand, including the 30A Ascender, built on a Ford F-500 chassis. Features include a queen sized bed, custom walnut cabinets and for you true, off-grid, get off my lawn types, a remote activated GOST Security system and a 25 Mile Range Simrad Radar System with a 12″ screen. Incoming!!

This year’s show runs Thursday, January 19th through Sunday, January 22nd at Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City. Show hours are:

Thursday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

Friday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

Saturday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
