KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The KCPD’s Police Athletic League (PAL) has been has been offering cost-effective, community-oriented programming for area youths since its inception in 1994, and that won’t halt just because school’s out for the summer.

PAL has 50 spots available in its upcoming Summer Program, which will feature eights weeks of full-day activities at its facility, located at 1801 White Avenue. The program begins on June 6, and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. The cost is just $25 for the whole session, but applicants must be (or sign up to become) a PAL member to participate.

Activities will include flag football, softball, basketball, badminton, kickball, dodgeball, movies, mountain biking, video games, board games, and even some field trips. Lunch and a snack will be provided each day. This program is for children between the ages of eight and fifteen.
