Some would call it the miracle on Montgall. Others would simply call it paying it forward. Ida Genova in the Pendleton Heights Neighborhood tipped us off about a fine youth who took it upon himself to clean up his block a little. The youth, Chris Romo, was sick of the way his block looked, so he trimmed weeds on the entire street between Independence Avenue and Elma. When offered money for the task, he simply encouraged others on the block to pay someone else forward a little. Kudos to Mr. Romo for kickin’ up the quality of life a notch or two in his neighborhood. We could sure use a few more like him in our world today.
