Parks and Rec trim a tree Dec. 14 in danger of damaging the roof of the Colonnade at the Concourse.
Kansas City’s Parks and Recreation Department paid a visit to the Colonnade at the Concourse Dec. 14 to trim a tree in danger of falling on top of the Colonnade.
A crew member of the Parks and Recreation Department said the tree located near the Colonnade had cracked along the trunk and the weight of the branches were exacerbating the problem. If you look closely, you can see the crack along the tree trunk. Parks and Rec said the gap of the crack was more obvious before they started removing the weight of the limbs.
