Northeast’s community-wide clean-up has been deemed a success. Neighbors turned out in droves Saturday, Oct. 29, to dispose of trash at Budd Park and Concourse Park and pick up litter along residential streets. Residents took advantage of the bulky item pickup and a total of 816 tires were collected. Leslie Caplan, chair of the Northeast HELP (health, education, labor, public safety), Public Safety Committee, which helped organize the event, commended Northeast residents for coming together and taking “pride in their community.” Photo submitted by Katie Greer
