The Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce on Thursday announced the winners of their HNE Murals Like/Share/Post the Most Competition.

The competition, on the heels of National Mural Day on May 7th, involved participants touring the multitude of locally produced mural pieces in the Historic Northeast community, then posting their photographs on social media and encouraging their friends to like and share those pictures.

First place went to Kristin Wicklund who visited forty-six mural locations, posted twenty-four pictures and garnered over 300 Likes in the process. Coming in a respectable 2nd place was local cycling enthusiast Bob Omer with a total of 145 Likes to his five murals visited.
