Norma Jean Bills, 80, Kansas City, Mo., passed away Feb. 27, 2011.

Services were held March 3 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, Mo. Interment was at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Carson-Speaks Chapel.

Norma was born Dec. 7, 1930, to William F. Ferguson and Velma Ann (Huffstutter) Ferguson in Pattonsburg, Mo.

She and her husband, John C. Bills, owned and operated the Norjon Realty Company since 1973.  She was a member of the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and loved to cook for various church functions. She was a past secretary for Landlord’s Inc.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years John C. Bills of the home; daughters Judith Ann Jones and husband Denzil, Excelsior Springs, Mo., Bonnie Jean Dodge and husband Billy, Lawson, Mo.; son John D. Bills and wife Gigi, Kansas City, Mo.; sisters Dorothy Carter, Kansas City, Mo., Charlotte Rigney and husband Bill, Albany, Mo.; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; forty nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
