The Northeast News welcomes Cynthia Najera aboard its team as the account executive for the new Mercado Noreaste.

Mercado Noreaste is a four page, wrap section of our standard Northeast News product, dedicated to Hispanic advertisers and readers in Kansas City’s Historic Northeast neighborhood. Najera will work to improve outreach to the Hispanic community with the addition to the paper.

Najera comes to the newspaper with three years of sales experience, previously selling insurance in the Northeast area. She grew up in the community and attended Northeast High School but has since moved to Independence with her husband. Najera said she’s excited to see a product like this available to the Hispanic community.

“We want to get a lot of attention for businesses and help the Hispanic community’s needs,” Najera said.
