KANSAS CITY, Missouri — Police are asking for the public’s help with a weekend homicide in the Northeast.
According to an email from the Kansas City Police Department, at around 1 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, officers were called to the 100 block of Brooklyn Avenue in regards to a call of gunshots. Upon arrival, a shooting victim was located in the alley. The victim, Thomas E. Kuzila Jr., 52, was pronounced dead a short time later. There is no suspect description at this time.
Police believe the victim’s pickup truck was stolen after the shooting.
