Albert P. Mangini

 

KANSAS CITY- A 40-year-old Kansas City man faces three counts of felony in connection with the shooting of 21-year-old Travon Deshaun Jones.

According to Kansas City Police Department, officers were called to 31st and Van Brunt at approximately 1:30 p.m on Monday, July 8 near McDonalds in regard to a shooting.

Upon arrival, Jones was found on the sidewalk and pronounced dead. Witnesses say a man shot the victim and fled in a blue vehicle.

Police arrested Albert P. Mangini near the intersection of Independence Avenue and Woodland around 3 p.m. Monday.

Mangini faces first degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful posession of a firearm. Prosecutors requested a bond of $500,000.
