KANSAS CITY, Missouri — The Carl J. DiCapo Fountain (above), located along scenic Cliff Drive, was turned back on for the season by the Kansas City Parks and Recreation department on Tuesday, April 12; otherwise known as Fountain Day.
The city turned on all of its 48 fountains during the annual event, which officially began at 11:00 a.m. with a ceremony at Theis Park (47th and Oak). The Women’s Leadership Fountain (below), located at The Paseo and E. 9th Street, was also flowing by Tuesday afternoon.
