KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The Kansas City Public School District’s will soon have a new manager of public relations.
Andre Riley, the manager of public relations for the past six years, has accepted the title of director of news and information with the Dallas Independence School District, in Dallas. Riley’s last day is Wednesday, Feb. 19.
Eileen Houston-Stewart, chief communications and community engagement officer, said Riley has been an outstanding employee, and an asset to the Kansas City Public Schools.
“He not only has a knowledge of the district, but a passion for public education and communicating with our students, families and community stakeholders,” Houston-Stewart said. “He will truly be missed by many in our district.”
A replacement has not yet been named.
